Solar campus sets out to blaze the trail for sustainable and innovative means of transportation across university campuses with a top-down and grassroots approach, by having students and campuses take measures to reduce their carbon footprint.
Solar Campus seeks to implement tested and proven methods to solve the transportation needs on campuses all across Ghana using eco friendly, renewable and cheaper sources of energy as compared to gasoline powered vehicles. A precursor and addon benefit will be to instill a culture of environmental consciousness in students and make them ambassadors of e-mobility by providing at first-hand experience with e-mobility.
